Description:

This interactive sculpture is inspired by an itinerant peacock who showed up mysteriously in the Highland Park neighborhood, creating community connection. Sightings of the visiting peacock, named ‘Pete’ by residents, became the stuff of local legend. The sculpture is an abstract celebration of the colors, forms, and excitement generated by Pete. An adjustable mirror allows visitors to look at themselves, the sculpture, and their neighborhood in new ways.
