Commissioned by the City of St. Louis Park

Description:

Commissioned for a new vehicular overpass and pedestrian path below, the installation is inspired by the Minnehaha Creek Watershed’s flora and fauna throughout the seasons.  Working closely with the design team’s civil engineers and landscape architects, the artists created a comprehensive design that included fabricated steel sculptures and cast bronze atop the bridge deck. On the underside, two mosaic tile murals run the length of the abutment walls. All elements were coordinated to reflect the seasonal colors found within the watershed area.
