Description:

Inspired by the light and textures of the receding cornfield in rural Wisconsin, I used colored fiber in conjunction with utilitarian fencing parts to create a “planted” artistic response. For two weeks in the late summer sun, I wandered the field, planting poles and stringing fiber into an increasingly complex. The temporary installation was part of the Wormfarm Institute’s annual Farm Art Detour.
