Description:

An interactive installation of 300 permanent steel poles, representing the Close Park neighborhood residents. The poles’ color and heights, selected by residents, are also time capsules to be filled with community mementos. Set within a landscaped footprint that mimics the shape of the larger park, the poles provide a place to play, gather, and interact. Trees, boulders and flower beds create spaces within the field of color.
