Rochester Community & Technical College, Minnesota’s oldest community college, has commissioned ‘Pathways,’ a permanent sculpture that will be composed of 70 unique pieces in 10 unique colors to representing the school’s 70 academic programs and 10 academic pathways. Like the school itself, ‘Pathways’ will be an interactive place: an open-ended framework where paths overlap, unexpected connections are made, and directions extend into the unknown. ‘Pathways’ will invite exploration by a diverse and growing student population whose individual perspectives and approaches create an interwoven, multi-dimensional fabric.
